Branch Box 1 is planned as a richer six-month toddler collection for movement, fitting and posting, imitation, early matching, naming, pretend play, bilateral hand use, practical participation and simple problem-solving.

Planned future chapter — release date to be announced. Because this box spans six months, the current architecture deliberately focuses on depth and progression rather than stretching a short infant-style programme across the whole age band.

What this stage is about

• stacking, building and knocking down
• simple obvious-feature matching
• naming familiar objects and actions
• early pretend and imitation routines
• movement, carrying and purposeful placement
• two-hand practical tasks
• simple put-away, transfer and independence routines

Six-month progression matters

Each anchor resource should be able to grow with your child. The same resource may begin with free exploration and later invite matching, fitting, imitation, sequence or practical independence. A 12-month-old and a 17-month-old should not simply receive the exact same challenge.

What Growth Garden will avoid

Branch should not resell Sprout-style container play unchanged. Familiar mechanics only earn their place when they introduce a new layer such as fitting, matching, imitation, language, sequence or independence.

Safety and supervision

Toddler throwing, mouthing and active movement make robust construction and part-size review especially important. Transfer, sensory, art and water-based ideas remain adult-controlled activities where appropriate.
