Seed Box 2 is the planned second Seed chapter, following the quieter newborn stage with increasingly active reaching, grasping, tracking, movement, texture exploration and richer face-to-face interaction.

What this stage is about

• reaching toward interesting objects
• grasping and bringing hands toward the middle of the body
• tracking objects and faces with growing control
• exploring texture and simple cause-and-effect
• floor play and supported movement
• vocal turn-taking, imitation and shared attention

Current activity direction

The provisional Seed Box 2 architecture includes reach-and-grasp invitations, two-hand play, richer visual tracking, washable texture exploration, child-action sound, movement variations, social imitation and simple object-discovery play where developmentally appropriate.

This is not a final contents list. Growth Garden will only choose exact products after sourcing, sample and safety evidence work is complete.

How it progresses from Seed Box 1

Seed Box 2 should not simply recolour or repeat newborn resources. If a familiar sensory principle returns, it needs a genuinely new motor, social or cognitive purpose — for example moving from watching toward reaching, grasping, two-hand use or object discovery.

How to use this stage

Keep play short and responsive. Repeat activities your baby enjoys, simplify when needed and stop when your baby turns away, becomes tired or loses interest. The age band helps you choose; it does not create a milestone deadline.

Safety and supervision

Anything intended for handling or mouthing must pass the exact age/use, material, construction and physical QA checks before release. Growth Garden avoids treating loose small parts, long loose cords, fragile components, magnets, batteries or loose fill as casual infant-play materials.

Purchase status

Seed Box 2 is planned within the ten-box Growth Garden journey and as a Once-Off Age-Stage Box, but it is not available to order yet.
